New salon in Kolkata offers beauty and hair services under medical supervision

Kolkata, Sep 5 (IBNS): A new salon in Kolkata is ready to offer its customers beauty and hair services supervised by medical professionals.

Winsome Beauty Studios is a joint venture between cosmetic and plastic surgeon Dr Manoj Khanna and film editor Atanu Ghosh.

Tollywood actress Sreela Majumdar attended the inauguration of the unisex family salon and said she was quite impressed by the services on offer.

Dr. Manoj Khanna, who is well known for his work among the Indian cricket community as well as his professional association with Bollywood and Tollywood celebrities, said, “I have known Atanu for quite some time. When he pitched me this idea of opening a salon, I knew it was a good venture and this salon will be the perfect blend of beauty with proper medical guidance.”

Atanu Ghosh, a Kolkata-based film editor said that many people complain that the services rendered by a beauty salon would often fall short of expectations even though they paid a good sum for it.

"I wanted to do something about it," said Ghosh. "I wanted to open a place where how we treated the customers would matter more than the money. Our work environment is very friendly, we are all like a family here and I sincerely hope that the people will take notice of the work that we have put in and appreciate our services.”

Ghosh said they have plans to open branches of Winsome across Kolkata.
