On the occasion of the Commencement Day of Matagiri, the Sri Aurobindo Centre in the USA, the iconic collaborative production 'Music Meets Bells' will return to the stage after seven years, featuring two of India’s foremost classical artists — Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, internationally acclaimed Santoor maestro, and Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya, renowned Odissi danseuse.

The duo’s last joint tour of the United States in 2018 marked the culmination of a series of performances that showcased the depth and grandeur of this collaboration.

Since then, their paths have continued to evolve individually, with Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya and Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya further solidifying their status as luminaries in their respective fields.

Since its inception, Music Meets Bells has taken the artists on a remarkable journey across the globe, from the cultural heartlands of India to prestigious venues in Hollywood, Taiwan, and beyond.

Their performances have mesmerized audiences at world-class festivals and stages, leaving an indelible mark on the world’s cultural landscape.

First conceived in 2012 under the blessings of the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar, Music Meets Bells is a transcendent dialogue between the melodic brilliance of the Santoor and the rhythmic grace of Odissi.

The performance has enthralled audiences worldwide, from India to Hollywood and Taiwan, and now returns to offer a soulful celebration of Indian classical heritage.
