Kolkata/IBNS: Actress-MP Mimi Chakraborty unveiled jewellery brand Tanishq's Durga Puja collection 'Aishani' last week.

The 'Aishani' collection is aimed at honouring the women of Bengal, the brand says.

Speaking at the launch, Mimi said, "I am really glad that after a long long time without the barrier of masks or any public health concern, we will finally be able to celebrate Durga Pujo like old times."

"I am really excited for this collection because I was there throughout the process from the very start to finish," the actress-MP added.

Alok Ranjan, Regional Business Manager, East Tanishq, Titan Company Limited, said, "This year, with our pujo collection, we're embracing the unwavering spirit that resides in every Bengali woman.

"Our pujo collection isn't just an homage to them; it's also a celebration of the festival itself. Aishani narrates tales of these exceptional women who stand out courageously, empowering and inspiring others along the way."
