Khadi and Village Industries Commission collaborates with Prasar Bharti on styling DD News and DD India anchors

New Delhi: Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) Manoj Kumar launched the collaboration on the styling of DD News and DD India anchors on Saturday in New Delhi as part of an MoU with Prasar Bharti on September 18.

Speaking on the occasion, the KVIC Chairman said, “Naye Bharat ki NayiKhadi  is ready to be attire of all the anchors of DD anchors.”

The Khadi and Village Industry (KVI) Sector has witnessed significant growth by surpassing turnover of Rs 1.34 Lakh Crore and generating over 9.50 Lakh new jobs in the last nine years, which is a testament to the government's commitment to the welfare of Khadi artisans.

Prasar Bharati CEO Gaurav Dwivedi opined that this a great moment of pride for Doordarshan when the collaboration with KVIC will be visible to the world in the form of styling of DD India anchors.
