Indrani Gupta's new album Raga released

Kolkata, Oct 5 (IBNS): Rooh Music recently released a solo album by Indrani Gupta entitled 'Raga' featuring 5 tracks.

The music for the album has been designed by Santoor legend Pdt Tarun Bhattacharya and features tracks as " Sawariya Kare Manmaani" based on Raga Mishra Kausadhwani rendered in the traditional Thumri style. This is followed by "Bhari Sir Gagar Chodo Mari" on Raga Mishra Khamaj rendered in the Dadra style.

Raga Maaj Khamaj is depicted in the Chaiti genre with song titled "Yehi Thaiyaan Motiyaan Heraaye".

Indrani shows her versatility by her rendition of RagaBhairavi in the Dadra style with her song "Chod De Gali Bahi" and the final track is a Bhajan, : "Ghat Ghat Mein Panchi"  by Kabirdas .

Indrani Gupta had her initial training with Vimal Kr Srivastava in the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana and later on she honed her skills with Pdt LK Pandit and Pdt A Kanan along with Smt Purnima Chaudhury.

Pdt Tarun Bhattacharya too has contributed his immense knowledge and versatility in grooming her and presenting this wonderful album.
