Hyundai India announces Deepika Padukone as global brand ambassador

Auto major Hyundai India has named actress Deepika Padukone as the new global brand ambassador.

The company announced the development on Instagram and wrote: "We welcome the global icon deepikapadukone to the Hyundai family. Fasten your seatbelts for an ultimate drive!"

In the image shared on the social media platform, the actress could be seen wearing a black dress as she smiled and stood in front of a car.

Deepika was part of two highest-grossing movies of 2023- Pathaan and Jawan.

Both the movies featured Shah Rukh Khan in the lead roles and marked his return to the silver screen with a bang after a gap of four years.

Deepika will soon be seen in Fighter.

Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the movie will also feature Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.

It is scheduled to release theatrically on 25 January 2024, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend.
