Catriona Gray of the Philippines crowned Miss Universe

Bangkok, Dec 17 (IBNS): Catriona Gray, 24, of the Philippines was crowned Miss Universe 2018 on Monday.

She was adjudged the best leaving behind 93 contestants from different countries.

The Miss Philippines, who was named Miss Universe, is a singer and model.

On being crowned the with title, Gray shared that when she was 13 years old, her mother had a dream that she would win Miss Universe in a red dress.

The first runner-up in the contest is Tamaryn Green of South Africa.

The third-place has been bagged by Sthefany Gutierrez of Venezuela.
