Apple event confirmed for September 9—Here’s what iPhone fans can expect

Tech major Apple has revealed that its latest launch event will be held on September 9 when iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max devices are expected to be unveiled.

Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak revealed the date of the tech grand event on X, a highly anticipated mega affairs which is expected to draw the attention of gadget lovers across the globe.

The keynote is likely to begin at Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, Cupertino, California, and will begin at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (10:30 p.m. IST).

Apart from the phones, Apple is likely to release its other major gadgets, including watches, during the signature annual event.

Joswaik wrote on X: "Surprise and shine! It’s almost time for the #AppleEvent, on Wednesday, September 9!"

The showstopping moment is likely to be the revelation of the iPhone devices.

The details about the event as shared on Apple's website catches an interesting tagline which reads: "Surprise and shine."

The event remains significant since it will be the first mega affairs under CEO John Ternus.

He will take over responsibility of the company from Tim Cook on September 1.
