Patna, Sept 22 (TheBiharPost): Teachers and taught remain to be on the same page in Bihar.

The shocking revelation came to light here on Thursday after 83 percent teachers failed the test conducted by the state-run Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to test their knowledge.

The test was conducted for teachers teaching students enrolled in standard One to Five and standard Six to Eight.

An official report said of the total 43,794 candidates who appeared for the first test, 36,756 failed.

Again, of the total 168,761 who appeared for the second test, 138, 648 failed the test, reminding the result of Class 12 and Class 10 examinations conducted by the BSEB this year.

Quite like them, around 70 percent students had failed to clear Class 12 examinations while only 50 percent students passed the Class 10 examinations this year.
