Kerala reports 13 COVID deaths, 2,476 new +ve cases: Health Minister

Thiruvananthapuram/UNI: Kerala on Wednesday reported 13 coronavirus-related deaths and 2,476 new cases, the state Health Minister KK Shailaja said.

"At present, 22,344 patients are undergoing treatment. So far, 41,694 people have been cured of the disease. A total of 1,89,781 persons are under observation across the state -- 1,72,135 are at their homes or institutional quarantine centres and 17,646 in hospitals. Total 2,098 people were hospitalised today," the Minister said in a statement.

She also confirmed 13 fresh COVID deaths which took the fatality toll to 257 in the state.

On a positive front, 1,351 people recovered from the disease on Wednesday.
