J&K: GDC Nowshera organizes online competitions to mark Blood Donation Day

Sinagaar: Red Ribbon Club, Government Degree College, Nowshera today organized two online competitions to mark the “National Voluntary Blood Donation Day- 2020”.

 The events held were poster-making competition on the theme "Let's donate blood voluntarily and contribute to the fight against CORONA" and a slogan writing competition on the theme "The need for safe blood and blood products".

The events were organized by Prof. Pooja Devi, Nodal Officer, Red Ribbon Club under the supervision and guidance of Principal of the College, Dr Surinder Kumar.

The aim of these competitions was to create awareness among the students about the blood donation in the fight against CORONA.

The students of all the semesters participated with immense zeal and enthusiasm bringing out their creative expression and drawing skills.

The jury comprised College faculty, Prof. Atal Bharti (Department of Physics), Dr.Bandhna Thakur (Department of Hindi) and Prof. Sanjay Kumar (Department of Chemistry).
