India's COVID-19 case tally surpasses 60-lakh mark

India registered 82,170 new COVID-19 cases as the total number of instances in the country now crossed the 60-lakh mark, as per the Ministry of Health released data.

The death toll due to the disease now stands at 95542 after 1039 more deaths were registered in the past 24 hours.

The COVID-19 case tally now stands at 60,74,703.

There are 9,62,640 active cases while 5,01,6521 people have recovered from the highly infectious disease.
