India registers 26,964 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 26,964 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.

During the last 24 hours, 383 people died due to the virus.

Active cases account for less than 1% of total cases, currently at 0.90%.

It is the lowest since March 2020.

India's Active caseload stands at 3,01,989; lowest in 186 days.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 97.77%.

34,167 recoveries registered in the last 24 hours.
