COVID-19 death toll in India touches 38135

India registered 771 new deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll due to COVID-19 to 38135, as per Ministry of Health website.

Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in the country has crossed the 18-lakh mark. The current figure stands at 1803696.

India recorded 52972 new cases in a single day.

There are  579357  active cases in the country at present.

So far, 1186203 people have recovered from the highly infectious disease.
