West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar expresses sadness over Sushant Singh Rajput's demise

Kolkata/UNI: Saddened and shocked by the untimely death of bright, young actor Sushant Singh Rajput, West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar today said.

Speaking to UNI over phone, Bengal's first citizen said, 'Sushant's rise in the world of entertainment was inspirational and motivational for many.

"His several memorable performances on television and films would continue to inspire all of us," Dhankhar added.

"Shocked by the passing away. My thoughts are with his family, friends and fans," he said.

The 34-year-old Bollywood actor, who essayed the role of cricketer MS Dhoni of the eponymous film, besides, the acclaimed 'Kai Po Che' and 'Chhichore' among others, reportedly committed suicide at his Bandra residence in Mumbai.
