Shocked by the passing away of Sushant Singh Rajput: Narendra Modi

Mumbai/IBNS: Joining the rest of the nation in mourning the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Indian PM Narendra Modi described him a 'bright young' who left the world too soon.

"Sushant Singh Rajput...a bright young actor gone too soon. He excelled on TV and in films. His rise in the world of entertainment inspired many and he leaves behind several memorable performances. Shocked by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family and fans. Om Shanti," Modi tweeted.

Bollywood Actor Sushant Singh commited suicide at his Mumbai home, media reports said. He was 34.

Reports claim Sushant was found hanging at his Bandra home in Mumbai.

He started his career with television serials Star Plus’s romantic drama Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008), Zee TV’s popular soap opera Pavitra Rishta (2009–11).

He shot to fame with biopic of former Indian cricket captain "MS Dhoni-An Untold Story".
