New Delhi/IBNS: Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has accused the Modi government of taking "wrong policies" when it comes to the matter of Jammu and Kashmir after four soldiers were martyred in Doda on Monday.

In a long X post, Gandhi said the repeated terror attacks in the valley reveals "the poor condition of Jammu and Kashmir".

The Congress leader wrote, "These continuous terrorist attacks are revealing the poor condition of Jammu and Kashmir. Our soldiers and their families are bearing the brunt of BJP's wrong policies.

"It is the demand of every patriotic Indian that the government should take full responsibility for the repeated security lapses and take strict action against the culprits who harm the country and the soldiers. In this hour of grief, the entire country stands united against terrorism."

The Indian Army said a joint operation by the army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police was launched in Doda based on specific information on the presence of suspected terrorists.

The Army said additional troops were sent to the site.

Operation is currently going on.
