New Delhi/IBNS: The health condition of ailing former President Pranab Mukherjee is still critical, informed his daughter Sharmistha on micro-blogging site Twitter on Friday.

In a tweet, Sharmistha said, "Without getting into medical jargons, whatever I could understand from last two days is that though my dads’ condition continues remain very critical, it hasn’t worsened. There’s little improvement in his eyes’ reaction to light." (sic)

Mukherjee had tested positive for Novel Coronavirus when he went to the hospital to undergo brain surgery for the removal of a clot.

He is currently on ventilator support.
