PM Modi leaves for his two-day UAE visit
New Delhi, Aug 16 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday left for his two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates.
He is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit UAE in over 30 years.
Modi earlier said he is certain that his visit to the UAE will 'boost people-to-people ties' between the two nations.
The country is a home to over 2.5 million Indians.
On Sunday evening, Modi will visit the iconic Sheikh Zayed mosque in Abu Dhabi, built with marble brought in from all across the world, including from India.
He will then stop at a residential camp that is home to some 28,000 Indians workers. Modi will see their accommodation area and also interact with about 300 of them.
On Monday, PM Modi will go to the Dubai Cricket Stadium, where he will address about 50,000 Indians.
