Amethi/IBNS: The BJP-led NDA is failing to sweep Uttar Pradesh like the previous two General Elections, at least the initial trends of the results predicted.

INDIA is leading in 42 seats while NDA is ahead in 36 seats.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading in Varanasi while Union Minister Smriti Irani is trailing in Amethi, which she won for the first time in 2019.

Congress top leader Rahul Gandhi is leading in his party bastion Rae Bareli.

The majority mark is 272. If NDA forms the government, Modi will be the first Prime Minister to secure a consecutive third term in power after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut is leading in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi as the results of the Lok Sabha elections are coming out on Tuesday.

Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh is trailing behind Kangana.

Congress top leader Rahul Gandhi, who contested from Kerala's Wayanad and Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli, is leading from the seat.

The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 were held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1.
