Congress releases sixth list of five candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha polls

The Congress party announced on Monday the names of five more candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Giving this information, party General Secretary K. C. Venugopal said that the names of these candidates were selected by the Central Election Committee of the Congress. While releasing the fourth list on Sunday, the party had declared only three candidates.

The party has declared four candidates from Rajasthan: Ramchandra Chaudhary from Alwar, Sudarshan Rawat from Rajsamand, Dr. Damodar Gurjar from Bhilwara, and Prahlad Gunjal from Kota.

The Congress has fielded advocate Robert Bruce from Thiruvananthapuram, Tamil Nadu.
