Chennai: A district Congress leader was found dead in Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli on Saturday, media reports said.

KPK Jayakumar Dhanasingh's body was found partially burnt on his farm, media reported citing the police.

This incident follows the victim's recent claims of receiving life threats.

Police have set up three special teams to investigate the case.

Meanwhile, K Selvaperunthagai, the chief of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC), expressed condolences over the passing of his party colleague and remembered his contributions to the party.
