New Delhi/Bangkok/IBNS: Amid concerns voiced by opposition parties, India is not going to join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership or RCEP with media quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that his "conscience won't allow it". The PM declined to sign RCEP saying he was guided by the impact it would have on all Indians. In view of current global situation, fairness of the agreement and India's core interest which remained unresolved India decided not to join it, according to a briefing by India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
