Man dies during family feud in Rae Bareli

A 60-year-old man was killed during scuffle between members of a family in Maharajganj area of Rae Bareli district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, a police officer said.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Naveen Kumar Singh said that the incident took place in Pure Gurudutt Singh village where a scuffle broke out between the members of a family.

"One Lal Bahadur Pal sustained serious injuries during the scuffle and was taken to the hospital where he died during treatment," he said.

He said that one side of the family informed the police after the incident after which the body was sent for postmortem examination.

"A complaint has been received from one side after which a case has been lodged. Teams have been constituted to arrest the accused," he said.
