Minor girl gangraped in Meghalaya's West Garo Hills

Guwahati: Three minor boys aged below 18 years, who allegedly gangraped a 16-year-old minor girl, surrendered before police in Meghalaya's West Garo Hills district on  Sunday. 

According to reports, the minor girl was gangraped by 3-teenaged boys on Dec 25.

A top official of Meghalaya police said that, the three boys forcefully took her from her house to a nearby jungle where they committed the crime.

The boys abandoned the girl in the jungle area and fled from the area.

The teenagers were absconding after their crime spread out widely and they surrendered at Tura Women's police  station in West Garo Hills district on Sunday.
