New Delhi/IBNS: Justice DY Chandrachud will take over as the Chief Justice of India from Nov 9, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said Monday.

Chief Justice UU Lalit, who is set to retire on Nov 8, recommended the name of Justice Chandrachud as his successor.
