Nagpur/UNI: Two people, including a patient, were crushed to death and four others sustained severe injuries as a portion of a slab of government-run TB Hospital collapsed here on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Devnath Bagde and Vanita Waghmare.

Vanita had come to the hospital to see her sick sister to the TB Ward.

According to sources, the incident occurred this evening at around 1745 hours, when the slab of Dermatology and Venereology collapsed, crushing Devenath, Vanita and other four persons under the debris.

Devnath and Vanita died on the spot, while others sustained serious injuries.

Sources further said the resident doctors had complained to hospital administration about the dilapidated condition of the building.

Further probe is on, sources added.
