Tuck into 'Kachalanka mutton' at Saptapadi this puja

Kolkata, Oct 10 (IBNS) The matinee idol's favourite 'Kachalanka Mutton' are on offer, along with other mouth-watering Bengali cuisine, at Uttam Kumar-Suchitra Sen themed 'Saptapadi' during the five days of Durga Puja celebrations in Kolkata.

"From Kachalanka Mutton to Kachalanka Murgi, Sorse Narkel Murgi, Sorse Pabda, Masala Fried Pomfret to Kochi Pathat Jhol, Karai Kema Mutton, Kasha Murgi, there is an elaborate spread. all favorites of the matinee idol and the film fraternity in Bengal," a spokesman tells IBNS.

There will also be Katla Kalia, Sorse Pabda, Vetki Paturi, Chingri Malaicurry, Daab Chingri, Bhappa or Sorse illish. Boneless Illish Combo ,  for those who are more into fish delicacies.

"We have certain signature items which were liked by matinee idol Uttam Kumar and equally popular among the lovers of Bengali cuisine and some of these are on platter in this fest apart from some other new additions all retaining Bengaliness. 

At price Rs. 699 Plus taxes these menus are available at both outlets Baghajatin and Hindustan park.

There is also a Durga idol in the restaurant where puja is being offered worship while 'Live Durga' (a woman decked up as the Goddess) will be there moving from one table to another with blessings.
