Kolkata/IBNS: The importance of plants in our lives cannot be overemphasized but with limited space, can we grow plants or build a small garden at home?

Founded by Yash Vyas, the Delhi-based agritech startup called Agro2o, may have the answer for you.

It has come up with a proprietary ‘Smart Garden’ which combines hydroponics (growing plants without soil) and technology.

Agro2o Smart Garden is a fully automated device, where you may grow a wide range of plants according to your choice, the company said in a release.

You have to fill the water tank and insert the pre-seeded pods and nutrients into the Smart Garden.

The device may be placed wherever you like.

It can grow 12 plants at the same time aided by intelligent nutrient dosing, automating watering, and spectrum-adapted LEDs.

The product, which will enter the market soon, is expected to be popular not only with people who love plants but also those who may want to grow their own vegetables, herbs and medicinal plants at home.
