Red Bull Tour Bus ends its east tour in Kolkata

| | Jan 23, 2017, at 10:14 pm
Kolkata, Jan 23 (IBNS): The Red Bull Tour Bus ended its first tour of the year in Kolkata on Sunday evening with a stellar gig featuring the Pune-based band Agnee and local Indie rock/funk act Neel and the Lightbulbs. Both bands made their debut atop the Red Bull Tour Bus, and delivered performances that will be remembered for some time to come.

A hugely popular figure in the local music space – and across the country – Neel Adhikari’s band Neel and the Lightbulbs opened proceedings for the night. Their rock meets funk sound made for a hugely enjoyable set, with fans lapping up some of their favourite songs, including Quarter Past Nine, Big Mistake, Of Mice and Men, and Rewind.

Pune and Mumbai-based rock band Agnee closed proceedings for the night, and with that, the first Red Bull Tour Bus tour of 2017. Their classic rock meets pop meets Hindustani and Indian classic sound has earned them fans across the country over the years, as was made apparent by the thousands gathered to watch them play.

With the first tour of the year drawing to an emphatic close, stay tuned for the next.
