'Kerala Vipananolsavam' begins

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 22 (UNI) 'Kerala Vipananolsavam,' a national exhibition cum sales of products from rural India, began here on Friday.

Reserve Bank of India, Kerala Regional Director, SM Narasimha Swamy inaugurated the event organized by the NABARD Regional Office here.

The event was attended by R Srinivasan CGM, NABARD, other Senior executives of banks, NGOs and Farmer Producer Organizations.

Handicrafts, Handlooms, antique jewellery, other ethnic and exquisite products from 22 States will be displayed for sale during the expo which will conclude on February 28.
