GSAT-18 Satellite launch: PM Modi congratulates ISRO

New Delhi, Oct 6 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated ISRO following their successful launch of the GSAT-18 satellite.

Hailing it as another milestone in India's space programme, Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "Congratulations to @isro for successfully launching the communication satellite, GSAT-18. This is another milestone for our space programme."

The 3404 kg GSAT-18 carries 48 communication transponders in C-band, upper extended C-band and Ku-band for providing various services to the country.
