Toyota Kirloskar Motor sales growth momentum continues, sells 13078 units in September

Kolkata, Oct 1 (IBNS): Automobile giant Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Monday said it has sold a total of 12512 units in the domestic market this month of September 2018.

 The company exported 566 units of the Etios series this month thus clocking a total of 13078 units. 

TKM sold a total of 12335 units in the domestic market and exported 1343 units of the Etios series in September 2017.

The company has witnessed a growth of 17% in the first six months of this financial year 18-19 April-September as compared to the same period in FY 17-18.

Commenting on the sales performance, N. Raja, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “We are happy to have sustained a positive growth momentum of 17% from April to September 2018 as compared to the same period last year.  This growth can be attributed to the strong demand of Crysta, Fortuner, Yaris and the Etios Liva.  We have reached a significant milestone of more than 4 lakh happy customers for Etios Series in the month of September 2018. Etios Liva has seen a positive sales growth of 10 % in April -Sep 2018 as compared to same period last year."
