Sensex falls 97.30 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday ended on a weak note closing at 33,507.92 down by 97.30 pts.

The fall is primarily being attributed to tensions between India and China at the Ladakh border.

The NIFTY 50 of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too saw a fall of 32.85 pts to close at 9,881.15 pts.

The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 33,933.66 and 33,332.96 pts respectively.

The NIFTY 50 registered the day's high and low at 10,003.60 and 9,833.80 points respectively.
