mjunction's Global Procurement Conference to focus on digitisation tools

Kolkata/UNI: mjunction services limited's third one-day Global Procurement Conference here on December 16 will focus on digitisation tools and methods that bring about efficiency and excellence to procurement processes .

The theme of the conference is “Driving up Procurement Excellence through Digitization”. The Institute for Supply Management (ISM)) is the knowledge partner of the conference.


The conference will provide a platform to procurement professionals across industries to come together to share and exchange learning, ideas and developments in digital technology for improved efficiency and greater agility, an emailed statement sent to UNI here said.


The event assumes significance as more and more Chief Procurement Officers are adopting Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotic Process Automation to make their procurement processes leaner.

mjunction MD & CEO Mr Vinaya Varma said, “In our last conference, we discussed the competitive advantages of digitising procurement. This year, we will take one step forward to discuss threadbare how digitisation is resulting in efficiency and excellence. Leaders and experts in the procurement space will discuss the impact and advantages of using digitisation to achieve significant savings and also the best possible service or product in the most optimum time.”

The conference will be attended by industry experts, policy makers and other stakeholders in the area of procurement. Dedicated sessions on technological developments will provide insights on how digital technology can be leveraged in procurement processes for greater efficiency. More than 250 delegates including Chief Procurement Officers and Heads of Procurement, will attend the conference.
