Maruti Suzuki recalls Ciaz for replacement of speedometer assembly

New Delhi, Nov 12 (IBNS) : Maruti Suzuki has announced a service campaign to replace the speedometer and the owner’s manual for the Ciaz diesel in Zeta and Alpha trim.

According Maruti, 880 Ciaz diesels manufactured between August 1 and  September  21 2018 have been affected.

The carmaker is calling this a "proactively undertaken Service Campaign" and says there is no safety concern in the affected Maruti Suzuki Ciaz units, the best selling ones in the mid-size car segment.

A total of 880 vehicles of the Ciaz diesel have been recalled, which were manufactured between August 1 and September 21, 2018

Maruti dealers have already started reaching out to customers from October 29th onwards to notify them about the replacement.

The cars will be checked and parts will be replaced free of cost.
