Indian Rupee up 15 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Tuesday gained by 15 paise to close at 73.70 against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit that fell by one paisa to 73.86 in early trade, later it erased earlier losses, and finished positive at 73.70, up by 15 paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee recovered owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies along with positive stock market, dealers added.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.89 and 73.68 respectively, he added.
