Indian Market: Sensex up by 522 pts
Mumbai/UNI: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday rallied by 522.01 pts to settle at 33,825.53 on strong global cues.
Reassurance by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in an address to India Inc at the CII's 125th annual session, that India will return to growth, boosted the sentiment further.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too rose by 152.95 pts to settle at 9,979.10.
The Sensex registered days high and low at 33,866.63 and 33,301.29 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered days high and low at 9,995.60 and 9,824.05 respectively.
