Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday dropped 303.35 pts to settle at 53,749.27 on heavy selling in IT, Realty, Industrials and Capital Goods stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too slipped 99.35 pts at 16,025.80.
The sensex registered days high and low at 54,379.59 and 53,683.16 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded days high and low at 16,223.35 and 16,006.95 respectively.
