IDBI Bank inaugurates its first 'e-lounge'

Mumbai, Sept 4 (IBNS): Taking forward its endeavor to deploy cutting edge technology to offer a wide array of advanced financial services and products to its customers, IDBI Bankon Thursday launched its first 'e-lounge'.

The e-lounge, which is unmanned and located at Mahim branch, Mumbai, was inaugurated by M. S. Raghavan, Chairman  Managing and Director IDBI Bank.

At IDBI Bank’s e-lounge, banking services will be taken to a different plane, with high-end technology platform meeting most of the banking requirements through simple and intuitive interface on the self-service terminals.

The customers can, on a self service basis, enjoy facilities such as ATM, Automated Cash Deposit (with a receipt and instant credit of the amount), Automated Cheque Deposit (with an acknowledgment receipt), Automated Pass Book Printing, e-Transact terminal for various Card and Net Banking holders to view balance, make a funds transfer, pay bills, recharge etc. The platform also contains a LED screen providing details of Interest rates, products and services and a Hotline to our Customer Care Centre.

Speaking on the occasion, M. S. Raghavan, Chairman & Managing Director, IDBI Bank said, "IDBI Bank has always been in the forefront of technological innovation extending latest banking services to its customers.  In course of time, we look forward to integrating many more features and facilities onto these terminals, to deliver utmost ease and benefits to our customers for hassle-free banking transactions. Going forward, many more such e-lounges will be opened across the country.”
