Hyundai launches all new Verna

Kolkata, Feb 21 (IBNS): South Korean car maker Hyundai Motor India Ltd. on Friday launched their all-new world class sedan car 4S Fluidic Verna through an event at Taj Bengal Hotel in Kolkata.
Marketing and Sales Manager of Hyundai India Rakesh Srivastava, Zonal Manager (Easter Region) of Hyundai India T Ghosh and Regional Manager (East) of Hyundai Motocorp Avijit Basu Roy were present at the announcement ceremony.
 
Rakesh Srivastava said that 2014 was the year of excellence for their business in India. "We had recorded the highest sale of our cars in this country," he said.
 
The first edition of Hyundai Verna was launched in 2006 and more than 2.3 million people of 66 countries bought that car, they said.
 
The all-new 4S Fluidic Verna is billed as a sophisticated, premium, stylish and safe sedan car.  
 
Hyundai claimed that the car embodied the best of this company's modern-premium brand power and it delivered maximum driving pleasure and confidence besides being sporty with a premium design, offering best comfort and high fuel efficiency exceeding customers' expectation.
 
The new 4s Fluidic Verna is available with a choice of 2 petrol (Gamma 1.4 & 1.6 MPI VTVT) and 2 diesel (U2 1.4 CRDi & U2 1.6 CRDi VGT) engines. The average mileages of the four types engines of this car are 17.4 (Petrol 1.4) & 17.01 (Petrol 1.6) and 24.8 (Diesel 1.4) & 23.9 (Diesel 1.6).
 
This car has  tilt and telescopic steering, integrated 2 DIN bluetooth audio with 1 GB internal memory and 6 speakers.
 
New 4S Fluid Verna also has smart start/stop key, fully automatic temperature control (FATC), rain sensing wiper, automatic headlamps, cooled glove box and many other ultramodern features.
 
The security system of this car is too good, said the makers. 
 
According to Hyundai it has 6 airbags, anti-lock breaking system (ABS), speed sensing auto door locks, impact sensing auto door unlock and reverse parking camera and sensors.
 
The all-new 4S Fluidic Verna will be available in 10 variants with choice of Manual Transmission and Auto Transmission and 5 variants in petrol and 5 in diesel and this car will be available in 5 different colours- sleek silver, stardust, phantom black, pure white and red passion.
 
Hyundai claimed that the car had been passed through many tests on the toughest roads of Arrizona (US), China, Russia, India and of some other countries and a media test drive of this car was also done in India's Udaypur and the feedback was very good.
 
The starting ex-showroom (Kolkata) prices of new Verna are 7,95,225 INR (Petrol) and 9,19,623 (Diesel).
