HAL had handed over three ALH-MK-III three helicopter ahead of the schedule

Bengaluru, Feb 22(UNI) The Indian Defence major, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has formally handed over three Advanced Helicopters ALH-MK-III, to the Indian Army, at a formal function in the sidelines of the Aero-India-2019 here on Friday.

The HAL, which had won the order to supply 41 ALH-MK-III category helicopters, earlier, had formally handed over three Helicopters, ahead of six months to the Indian Army.

In a simple ceremony, at the event, the HAL Chairman and Managing Director, R Madhavan had formally handed over the documents of the Choppers to Mr Kanwal Kumar, Lt General AVSM.

The Contract was signed between the Ministry of Defence and HAL to supply of advanced Helicopter ALH recently.
