Kolkata, May 21 (IBNS): Eastern India’s pharmacy chain Emami’s Frank Ross Pharmacy has introduced a Smartphone application to help customers order medicines by the touch of a button.
This is the first time in India that a pharmacy chain has introduced this service to benefit its modern-day customers.

To avail the facility the Frank Ross Application will have to be downloaded on a Smartphone.

“The Frank Ross Smartphone application will make ordering of medicines very easy. Now people can call for medicines from the comfort of their homes 24 x 7. The Frank Ross mobile application will act as a friend and help senior citizens and all those who find it difficult to visit a pharmacy. Our centralised home delivery centre can be called between 8am to 9pm throughout the week. Home delivery will be done within 4 hours during business hours throughout Kolkata. We shall gradually introduce facilities such as prescription reminders and medical help-line to aid patients”, stated Gautam Jatia, CEO, Frank Ross Pharmacy.

Presently operating as a division of Emami Frank Ross Limited and a part of the prestigious Emami Group, the saga of this 108-year-old pharmacy chain reflects a growth from strength to strength. The Frank Ross Pharmacy is now successfully operating 99 exclusive stores across the states of West Bengal, Karnataka and Gujarat, with 84 outlets in West Bengal, of which as many as 64 are in Kolkata.
