Ashok Leyland sales down by 4.09 percent in March

Mumbai, Apr 1 (UNI) Commercial Vechile,Ashok Leyland reported a decline of 4.09 percent in its total sales for the month of March 31, 2019 at 21,535 units as against 22,453 units during the same month of the previous year.

Sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles during the month under review declined 6 per cent to 16,034 units as against 17,057 units in a year-ago month, Company said in a filing with BSE.

Light commercial vehicles sales, however, grew 2 per cent to 5,501 units in March compared to 5,396 units in the corresponding month last year.
