Aparna Constructions and Estates contributes rupees five crore for the battle against COVID 19

Hyderabad/IBNS: Telangana based real estate firm Aparna Constructions and Estates Private Limited has donated rupees five crore to relief efforts towards containing the Covid-19 pandemic.

The company donated rupees two crore to Prime Minister’s Care Fund.

It also contributed rupees two crore to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and rupees one crore to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Rakesh Reddy, Director, Aparna Constructions said, “At Aparna Constructions, we have always aligned our efforts towards the larger well-being of the society. This donation is an extension of this deep belief of ours.”

He also said, “To ease the impact of the lockdown on our employees and residents, we are providing necessary provisions at our projects, including vegetables, hand-washing soaps/liquid, sufficient water and uninterrupted power. We are continuously educating residents, housekeeping and staff about safety measures including frequent hand washing, social distancing and practicing good hygiene. We provide a public announcement system that broadcasts coronavirus precautions and reminders. We continuously monitor the health of ur workers and arrange regular visits by a doctor. If any of our workers are found sick, including regular fever, we send them to the hospital by our ambulance.”

Through their CSR arm, Aparna Novel Society for Education and Research (ANSWER), the company has undertaken community driven initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of underprivileged children as well as senior citizens, the company said.
