Mumbai: Actor Tunisha Sharma, who committed suicide on the sets of her show Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul on December 24, was being used by her ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan’s family, her mother has claimed while dismissing allegations that she took her daughter’s money, media reported.

“I gave her Rs 3 lakh in three months. You can see my statement,” Tunisha Sharma’s mother Vanita told AajTak TV.

“I have no idea where Tunisha used the 3 lakh that I had sent in the last three months,” Vanita was quoted as saying by the news channel.

She has told the news organisation that Zeeshan did drugs and also forced Tunisha to do the same.

“It might be because of the drugs,” she claimed about the probable use of the money.

Tunisha Sharma was found dead in Sheezan Khan’s makeup room. He had been taken into police custody on charges of abatement to suicide.

Last Saturday, the hearing on his bail plea was adjourned by a Mumbai court to January 9 after Tunisha’s lawyer said her family was in Chandigarh for her funeral and peace prayers.
