Mamata Banerjee pays tribute to Gurudeb Rabindranath on his birth anniversary

Kolkata/UNI: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday paid her tribute to Gurudeb Rabindranath Tagore on his birth anniversary.

Taking to Twitter, Banerjee said, "I pay my humble tribute to Gurudeb Rabindranath Tagore on his birth anniversary."

"His great contribution to literature and art has shaped our rich cultural heritage and inspired many across the globe," she added.

"May his teachings and philosophy continue to guide us all," she added.

The party tweeted, "On his birth anniversary, we bow down to the legendary poet, philosopher & polymath, Rabindranath Tagore."

"His profound teachings resonate with millions of us, inspiring hearts & minds across the globe," it said.

"May his legacy of art, culture & literature illuminate our paths forever," it added.
