BJP storm in Nagaland, ahead in Tripura, advantage NPP in Meghalaya

New Delhi/IBNS: The country's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set for a sweeping victory in Nagaland and marginally ahead in Tripura as the poll results are coming out on Thursday.

As per the latest trends, the BJP is leading in 43 of 60 seats in Nagaland while in 25 of 60 seats in Tripura.

In Tripura, the Left-Congress are ahead in 21, Tipra Motha in 12 and Trinamool Congress in one seat.

In the hill state of Meghalaya, which also went to polls last month, the NPP is currently ahead in 23 seats while the Trinamool, which was once running away with numbers, is presently leading in only 8.
