US drone strikes must stop: Raheel Sharif

Islamabad, June 1 (IBNS) Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday said the drone strikes conducted by the US in his nation are regrettable.

He said the strikes must stop.

"Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif said on Wednesday US drone strikes are regrettable and must stop as they are a threat to the sovereignty and security of the country," Dawn News reported.
He said the country needs to maintain the success attained through operation Zarb-i-Azb.

"Terrorists will not be allowed to re-enter into areas cleared in South Waziristan and North Waziristan,"Sharif was quoted as saying by Dawn News.
