US, coalition continue strikes to defeat ISIS in Syria, Iraq

Washington, June 10 (IBNS): U.S. and coalition military forces continued to attack the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria on Friday, conducting 27 strikes consisting of 70 engagements], Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials reported on Saturday.

Officials reported details of yesterday's strikes, noting that assessments of results are based on initial reports, the US Department of Defence said in a statement.

The statement said in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 21 strikes consisting of 30 engagements against ISIS targets.

In Iraq, coalition military forces conducted six strikes consisting of 40 engagements against ISIS targets
